Route 812 - full service from 27 June 2022!
Route 812 will be back to its full service from 27 June 2022 with services every half an hour. The service will run from 9am to 4.47pm, Monday – Friday (except public bank holidays). The last service leaves Bridport Place at 3.50pm. The full timetable is available here.
Due to the small size of the buses, we will ask passengers to wear masks to minimise the risk of catching or passing on Covid-19 while using the 812 service.

About Route 812
Route 812 is your friendly local bus service in Islington, connecting people with nearby services and shops, their friends and family – or just helping people to get out and about.
It’s ideal for children, older people, disabled people, and parents with small children – but anyone can ride.
The service costs just £1 per trip and Freedom Pass holders and children under 16 travel free. New ticketing equipment means fares can now be paid using contactless bank cards We don't accept cash, Oyster cards, Travel cards or Saver tickets.
Route 812 runs between Bridport place in Hoxton and Bath Street in Finsbury via Packington Street, Sainsbury's supermarket in Islington, Percy Circus, Skinner Street (for Exmouth Market), The Peel on Northampton Road, Old Street (Golden Lane) and Dufferin Street. The service runs half-hourly, Monday to Friday (except public holidays). The last servcie leaves Bridport Place at 3.50 pm. You can find the timetable here.

Not your usual bus
Route 812 has some special features that make it extra helpful:
Hail and Ride: You don't kave to get to a bus stop, just get to the route - wave and the bus will stop!
Easily 'get-on-and-off-able': The buses are low floor and fully accessible. THe firndly drivers won't rush off until you're settled comfortably - they'll even help you on board.
Green machines: The service uses new, low emission vehicles, doing our bit for air quality where you live.
