The safety of our passengers and staff is our number one priority. That’s why we strongly recommend that passengers continue to wear a face covering on our services after 19 July unless they are exempt.

We’re looking forward to getting back to normal as much as anyone, but with COVID-19 cases in the Yorkshire area on the rise, we believe it’s safer for everyone to wear their face coverings, even though it is no longer compulsory.  We are reviewing our approach constantly, in line with government guidance and customer and staff feedback.
