Maria Rojo is the Finance Business Partner for red bus and is based at Ash Grove bus depot in London.

She has been working at HCT Group for almost a year and her role involves making sure the financials are correct for management accounts, assessing risk and supporting the operations team while also informing them of any financial implications involved in new decisions. Maria believes one positive step for drivers that work at HCT Group, is the recent introduction of flexible working arrangements, which not only benefits the individual, but also enriches the diversity of the organisation.

“HCT Group have recently started flexible working hours, so if bus drivers have children, are carers or have other dependents, they are able to manage both work expectations and their personal life. This is great for drivers and really important – there is always someone who’s going to need that flexibility.”
