Women in transport

Women make up 47 per cent of the UK workforce yet remain underrepresented in the transport sector accounting for only 20 per cent of workers. At HCT Group, we want to play our part in empowering women to have successful careers in the transport industry. We do this by creating a positive, supportive environment for all our employees – and female colleagues in particular. Meet some of our champions for women in transport.

Kenisha Foster is a Staff Manager at HCT Group and has been with the organisation for over a decade, starting as an administrator.

Kenisha Foster is a Staff Manager at HCT Group and has been with the organisation for over a decade, starting as an administrator.

In her time here, Kenisha has worked in various roles and progressed to Staff Manager earlier this year. Her responsibilities include keeping staff motivated, engaged and well informed, and the overall scheduling of drivers from Ash Grove bus depot to ensure routes are running smoothly and efficiently. Kenisha has found informal mentorship helpful to learn new skills.
