Each year we conduct a staff satisfaction survey, giving colleagues a stronger voice. The survey explores how people feel about their role, the organisation and how communication and dialogue might be improved. Results are shared across the organisation, with each region developing an action plan to follow up on staff feedback.

Elio's Story

Elio joined our team in Guernsey from Madeira, and after a few months cleaning buses he decided to get behind the wheel and become a driver.

Elio loves the beaches in Guernsey, and says he enjoys driving.

‘I am from Madeira, but I wanted to come to Guernsey for new opportunities. I joined HCT Group in Guernsey in 2017, cleaning buses. I did that for about six months before I became a bus driver.

‘I enjoy driving, and I like the routes along the coast. It’s a good job here – there are lots of hours so you can earn more money.

‘Guernsey is a good place to live. I like walking and Guernsey has good beaches too!’
