Making every trip special
At HCT Group, we know that, for service users, their day centre experience starts with the journey there – and we are committed to making every trip special.
Delivered on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), we provide transport for older people and people with disabilities to take them from their homes to day centres and other activities, retuning them at the end of the day. Our job is to make sure service users can get to their preferred day centre and back safely, comfortably and on time.
The service operates 365 days of the year and over the course of a year, we will provide around 35,000 passenger trips. It is delivered by fully trained drivers and passenger assistants using a modern fleet of fully accessible vehicles – meaning everyone can travel together. We are currently working with RBKC on how transport can be made more flexible and responsive to support the personalisation agenda.

If you’re not travelling
If you currently use our day centre services and need to tell somebody that you won’t be travelling on a particular day, please contact your day centre in the first instance, providing them with as much notice as possible.
