Helping you to get out and about
Community-led and community-designed, Community Buses are the services for people who can’t use mainstream buses, helping them to lead full and independent lives.
Bristol Community Transport provides a series of Community Bus services, helping older and disabled people reach a variety of essential local facilities such as post offices, medical centres and shops. All services operate a flexible route, so the bus can collect passengers from their homes and vary where they are dropped off – really meeting individual needs.
A membership service
The different Community Bus routes are open to “members only”. This means that all members of the service need to be a member of one of the not-for-profit organisations supporting the organisation. You can download a full information pack here - which sets out full information on each Community Bus service, the fares charged and how to apply for membership.
